Terms of service
Last updated · 2026-04-22The agreement between you and Promptable Ltd when you use promptable.co.uk or the Promptable product. By using the service you agree to these terms.
The service
Promptable Ltd provides the "Promptable" software platform, software that helps regulated and operational businesses manage the documents that describe how they work. We make the service available as a subscription with plans described on /pricing. We may evolve the service over time; we'll notify customers of material changes.
Your account
You're responsible for your account credentials, what your team does in the workspace, and the accuracy of the content you upload. You must have the right to upload and process any content you bring into Promptable.
Acceptable use
Don't use Promptable to:
- Upload content you don't have rights to process.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, circumvent tenant isolation, or probe security boundaries outside a bug bounty programme.
- Abuse the service for spam, harassment, illegal content, or activity prohibited by UK law.
We can suspend access if use violates these rules; we'll tell you why.
Your data
Your content remains yours. We process it to provide the service — see our Data Processing Addendum (/legal/dpa) for the details enterprises typically need. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models, ours or any third party's.
Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually per your plan. Invoices are issued via Stripe. Failure to pay may result in suspension after 30 days. Prices can change with 30 days' notice; you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the term unless we terminate for cause. On cancellation you have 30 days of read-only access for data export; after that the workspace is deleted.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promptable Ltd's total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. We don't exclude liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded under UK law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
