Cookies policy
Last updated · 2026-04-22What cookies we use on promptable.co.uk, why, and how you can control them.
What we use
We divide cookies into four categories:
Essential — needed for the site to work (e.g. remembering your consent choice). Always on; these don't need your consent under UK PECR.
Analytics — Mixpanel events measuring which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site. Used to make the site better. Anonymised by default.
Marketing — remarketing and advertising cookies. We don't currently use these; the category is reserved for when paid channels start.
Preferences — remembering UI choices (e.g. preferred currency or active tab). We don't currently use these.
Managing your choices
A banner appears on your first visit asking which categories to allow. Use "Accept all", "Reject all", or "Manage" to choose per category. You can change your mind any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Rejecting analytics doesn't reduce functionality — Promptable works the same either way. You're just not helping us improve it.
Third parties
Mixpanel (analytics only, EU-region endpoint). We don't currently set any third-party marketing cookies. If that changes, this page and the consent banner will be updated first.
Retention
Your consent choice is stored in localStorage under "promptable_consent_v1" for 12 months or until you change it. Analytics cookies set by Mixpanel follow its own retention policy.
